Best Affordable Restaurants in Manchester: Cheap Eats Guide

Whether you’re living in the city or just visiting, eating out doesn’t always need to break the bank. There are plenty of tasty cheap items in Manchester, although we admit finding them can be a challenge. Fortunately, we’ve done the detective work so you don’t have to. We present to you the best affordable restaurants in Manchester from budget friendly bottomless pizza to bargain breakfasts and brunches.

Bunny Jacksons

Best affordable restaurants in Manchester

Home to the 20p chicken wing, Bunny Jacksons it’s definitely the cheapest eat you will find out there. There was no way we couldn’t include it on our list of the best affordable restaurants in Manchester with these insane prices. Surprisingly, the prices do not reflect the standard because trust us when we say these wings are delicious. There is a variety of marinades to choose from but we recommend sailor jerry sesame spiced wings or jack daniels smoked honey mustard wings.

If you are feeling particularly brave why not try the hot wings challenge, have you got what it takes? The challenge is pretty much impossible to complete and involves eating 10 of the hottest wings in Manchester in under 10 minutes. Those who take on the challenge get a picture on the wall and either a winner or loser ‘hot wings challenge’ t-shirt. We think we’ll be giving this challenge a miss, but if you’re brave enough to take it on we’d love to hear about your experience so don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Crazy Pedro’s

Another one of our favourite cheap in Manchester is crazy pedros, not only is it super affordable, it always pulls through with immaculate vibes. If you’re looking for a great deal if you get down between 5pm and 9pm Sunday to Friday you can get some great deals on food and drinks. From £2 pizza slices to 2 for £10 cocktails this restaurant is definitely a strong contender for the best affordable restaurants in Manchester.

Vertigo

For all my fellow vegetarians out there, I know more often than not it comes at a cost. However, that doesn’t mean that you need to miss out on budget friendly feasts. Vertigo has come to the rescue with its affordable yet scrumptious vegan menu serving anything from breakfasts to burgers there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The best part, it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg either.

Bundobust

If you are looking for something unlike any other restaurant in the city then Bundobust is a must visit. The tasty Indian street food paired with specifically selected craft beers makes the restaurant one of our ultimate favourites in Manchester. Most importantly, the restaurant is really cheap too with nothing on the menu costing more than £6! Try it out for yourself, it will not disappoint.

Rudy’s

Although we have already included a pizza parlour, it would be rude not to add Rudy’s to the list of the best affordable restaurants in Manchester. Born in Ancoats Manchester,  in 6 years this restaurant has really taken off and now has multiple sites across the UK. It’s no surprise that this restaurant is so popular when prices of pizza start at £5.

Tops Buffet

If you’re someone with a big appetite and want a good value for money meal out you have to try Tops Buffet. This all you can eat restaurant provides a range of Chinese cuisine including starters, mains and deserts. Prices start at £12.50 for the lunch menu and booking is always recommended particularly on weekends if you want to secure a table as this place is popular.
