Now that life is officially back to normal it’s time to get out there and make the most of it. There is so much to do in and around our wonderful city. We wanted to help you get the most out of it with the ultimate bucket list of Manchester activities for couples. This bucket list is action packed full of a real variety of things to do with your partner. We’re sure they’ll be at least one thing on the list you’ve not tried before. If you’ve come to bring some spice back into your dates you’ve come to the right place.

Total Ninja

First on our list of Manchester activities for couples had to be Total Ninja. Located in Trafford Park, Total Ninja has two obstacle courses, an inflatable obstacle course and the ninja academy course. This is a great way to have fun, stay active and release your inner child. You’re guaranteed to have a laugh and keep busy for an hour or two here. The best part is, the two of you can visit for £20.

Teamsport Indoor Go Karting

This one is ideal for couples who love a more fast paced thrill. Based under the Manchester arena car park Teamsport go karting will definitely bring out the competitive side of you. You can go as fast as 45mph in these feisty little go karts. The cost for this is a bit more on the expensive side at £35 each which includes 2x 15 minute race sessions.

Odeon Cinema

This is a very typical date night but it just has to be ticked off the list! The Odeon Cinema. It’s traditional and romantic so you really can’t go wrong. Lets not forget the irresistible Tango Ice Blast too! There’s some great films out at the moment including suicide squad 2 and old. Old is tense but has a great ending so definitely worth the watch. With tickets only £8 per person this is an affordable date night that you’re bound to enjoy.

Roxy ballroom

A great place for both date nights and something to do with your friends is Roxy Ballroom. With beer pong, shuffleboard, ping pong and more, you’re sure to have a good time here. The place is always booming with a great atmosphere and music. Perfect if you’re planning a night out and want somewhere to get started. You can book each game for around £6 with beer pong costing a little bit more due to paying for the additional cost of the alcohol. NQ64

Next on our bucket list of Manchester date activities is NQ64. Flash back to the 80s with retro video games and crafted cocktails- this place is the ideal first date. With two locations in the city in Deansgate and the Northern Quarter you have to try this popular unique spot in the city. It’s free to get into NQ64 so give it a try.

Chill Factore

If you love adventure and sport, Chill Factore is worth giving a go. You could take ski lessons or snowboard and although not the most romantic, it will definitely get your hearts racing. You can book onto courses and even learn how to ski or snowboard properly which could lead to your next holiday being a ski trip.

Canal Boat Trip

If you’re looking for a more unusual date idea you could hire out a canal boat for a day or even a weekend. This is something different but with travel restrictions still making holidays a risk, why not do a mini ‘staycay’ and explore Manchester from a different perspective- down our historic canals. One independent provider is Star Narrowboat holidays who offer great prices for a unique experience. If you like the outdoors you can check out our Best outdoor bars Manchester guide.
