The Dunham Pumpkin Patch

Another Halloween Event Manchester you have to get involved in is pumpkin picking. Our favourite place is Dunham Masseys Pumpkin Patch, however there are a variety of pumpkin farms you can choose from surrounding the city. Simply book a time slot and head on down for the affordable price of £5.63 and pick your favourite pumpkins straight from the vines.

At Dunham Massey this year the Hewitt family are planting around 20,000 pumpkin planets to celebrate the return of the Dunham Pumpkin patch. All kinds of varieties have been planted ranging from traditional orange pumpkins to gourds, knobby pumpkins and last year’s very popular ghost rider pumpkins.

Scare City Drive in Films

Last but by no means least is potentially one of the scariest events on our list. Scarecity is definitely not for the faint hearted. This event is a drive in cinema like no other. It is a fully immersive experience with Halloween actors, a drive thru tunnel with a bone chilling walk through experience with unexpected surprises throughout for a truly hair raising, heart racing experience. You are then invited to watch a full length horror film from the comfort of your car.

Please note that some of the horror movies have an age restriction so be sure to check this before buying tickets if you are planning on bringing any children. If you are looking for a scary time that is suitable for all of the family, we would recommend checking out Spookycity which has a selection of spooky films for all ages.

Halloween at The Warehouse Project

If you live in Manchester you have probably heard of The Warehouse Project– a series of club nights featuring the hottest techno and drum n bass DJs in the music scene. In recent years The Warehouse Project has moved to the Depot, Mayfield directly opposite Manchester Piccadilly train station. The venue was once a disused railway depot, abandoned since 1960. Today it has been transformed into a one of a kind music venue. There are two Halloween events over the weekend featuring DJs such as Solardo, Skream, Denis Sulta and more.

The Twilight Zone at Impossible

If you are looking for a spooktacular night out where you can dress up and dance, why not head down to Impossible‘s Halloween special- The Twilight Zone. This year they plan to go all out with full venue decoration and immersive entertainment. You can expect scare actors, dancers, scare shows and more. We would recommend getting a ticket in advance to avoid disappointment which start at £11.25.

Squid Game Halloween Party at Joshua Brookes

If you’re one for jumping on the latest trend you have most likely watched Squid Game on Netflix. If you haven’t got round to watching it yet, we assure you that you won’t be disappointed. Joshua Brookes, located on princess street just off Oxford Road is hosting a Squid Game themed club night this Halloween and we love the creativity. Expect a full venue transformation, Squid Game themed cocktails and even games at the bar. Expect house, tech and RnB tunes with tickets starting at £3 which you can get from Fatsoma or Skiddle.

Bongos Bingo Halloween

This Halloween why not try something different with Bongos Bingo who are going on tour with their bewitched themed Halloween special. Fancy dress is encouraged if you really want to get involved. You may be wondering, what on earth is it? Well, put simply, it is traditional bingo, combined with dance offs, rave intervals, full audience participation and more. There is also the chance to win iconic prizes including giant pink unicorns, henry hoovers and even karaoke machines every single show.

Revolution Presents Enter The Circus

Another unmissable Halloween Event is on at Deansgate Locks at Revolution. This year’s theme is ‘Enter the Circus’ with a dark and eerie twist. Expect terrifying performances and bone-chilling immersive decorations. Tickets start at £6 making it an affordable night out for you and your pals.
