First Dates Restaurant Manchester Revealed

If, like us, you’re a fan of the popular Channel 4 show ‘First Dates’ you might be interested in visiting the First Dates restaurant for yourself. We’re here to let you into a secret. We accidentally discovered the First Dates restaurant Manchester after walking through St Peter’s Square.

The first thing we noticed was a cameraman filming one of the participants outside of the restaurant. However, it wasn’t until we glanced into the restaurant next to the cameraman when we spotted Fred that we realised. The Anthologist had been transformed into the First Dates Restaurant!

First Dates Restaurant Manchester- The Anthologist

If you are wanting to visit the First Dates restaurant Manchester for yourself, you can find it in the heart of the city overlooking St Peter’s Square. The best part about this location is it boasts unrivalled views of Manchester’s heritage listed buildings. This includes views of the central library designed by E. Vincent Harris constructed between 1930 and 1934. You can also see the Manchester Cenotaph, a sculpture by Sir Edwin Lutyens modelled after its sister sculpture in London’s Whitehall area.

Whether you fancy a quick catch up with a friend over a coffee or a post work tipple on the stunning alfresco style terrace, The Anthologist is the perfect place to relax and unwind. If visiting the First Dates restaurant Manchester we always recommend reserving a table to avoid disappointment. Although this restaurant is the filming spot for First Dates, we can’t promise you’ll bump into Fred as filming for the latest series has finished.
